How strange to read all these negative reviews about Koos Terpstra’s Jeanne d’arc. To put the record straight: Nico van der Knaap’s introduction was brilliant. He spent a spell-binding 25 minutes giving us the perfect background on the play itself. (Mr. van der Knaap, if you ever get tired of working on the stage, teach. You’re on a par with Robin Williams in DPS.) As for the play itself, what an eye-openener. I went with a group of friends (of which 2 were Dutch women)and we spent an animated evening still discussing this play. It stays with you a long time. An enthusiastic round of applause to a very talented group of people at NNT!
